Quantum algebra: from representation theory to integrable systems

This project develops the interface between statistical mechanics-driven tools in the areas both of integrable systems and of algebra and representation theory for computational physics. As an example of the richness of ideas present in this interface we have the classical notion of quantum groups and, looking forward, to applications that indicate and drive generalisations of quantum groups and their duals into various intriguing directions (such as towards higher dimensions and/or non-trivial boundary conditions; and the consideration of factorisation problems).
