This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. This study is designed to allow us to prescreen potential volunteers for HIV vaccine studies. This can often occur in advance of the vaccine studies final approval or is helpful when we have multiple studies that a volunteer could be eligible for based on history or HLA type. Specific information abotut eh individual studies that these volunteers could subsequently enroll in is provided in teh individual vaccine study submissions.
