CLINICAL TRIAL: PARTNERS SPECIALIZED PROGRAM OF TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH IN ACUTE

This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The National Institute of Health's Specialized Program Of Translational Research in Acute Stroke (SPOTRIAS) is a network of 7 NINDS-funded acute stroke research centers. The aim of the SPOTRIAS model is to perform acute stroke research in an efficient and coordinated manner. The SPOTRIAS at Partners is funded over five years to perform three inter-related acute stroke research projects, each of which originated in the MGH basic research laboratories. The research is funded at the MGH and BWH. Proyect 3 is a prospective study of markers of oxidative stress in acute stroke.
