EYELINK 1000 Desktop Eye Tracking SystemWhere people look normally indicates where they are attending.  I propose to purchase a desktop EYELINK 1000 eye tracking system.  This eye monitoring equipment will be shared with other members in the department, visiting scientists, as well as serving an essential purpose for the training of highly qualified personnel (HQP).My past, and current, efforts to monitor the eye movements of participants, although very successful, are now experiencing serious difficulties because my original eye tracker, the EYELINK I, is old and falling into disrepair.  This is putting a strain on my only other eye monitor, the EYELINK II.  At present my students and I have been trying to reduce the demand placed on the EYELINK II by traveling to other departments to use their comparable equipment.  This is an unsatisfactory long-term solution.  There is an acute need for a desktop EYELINK 1000 eye tracking system within my department.
