The Vessel RV Linnaeus is a platform of the Enhancement of Measurements on Ships of Opportunity (SOOP) facility.<br /> <br /> RV Linnaeus is a small CSIRO research vessel (callsign VHW6005) collecting underway bulk SST from its occasional trips within 200 nm from Hillarys Boat Harbour, WA. <br /> <br /> Bulk SST is processed from SBE38 calibrated digital oceanographic thermometer and SBE45 MicroTSG. The depth of water intake is 0.8 m. <br /> <br /> The data are quality controlled by the Bureau of Meteorology and provided to eMII.
