The Organic Electronic Materials and Devices group at Dalhousie University was established by the awarding of initial Discovery and Research Tools and Infrastructure Grants two-and-a-half years ago. In that time, we have established a world-class laboratory with facilities for thin-film deposition, device fabrication, electrical and optical characterization, and photoelectron spectroscopic studies of the surfaces and interfaces of organic electronic materials. The group has employed a total of nine graduate, undergraduate summer, and undergraduate thesis students in this time. Research output in the year-and-a-half since our first equipment became operable has been significant, with six manuscripts published, accepted or submitted. And we are still ramping up!
