The equipment funded by this RTI grant will provide the necessary computational infrastructure for the current projects in the Multimedia Communications Lab at SFU. In particular, the equipment will directly support the research work conducted under the PI's and the Co-PI's NSERC Discovery Grants, which focus on ergonomic multimedia, multiview and 3D video coding, streaming, distortion estimation, and error protection.
