项目摘要
Exploration and production of gold deposits has a significant impact on the Canadian economy in terms of royalties, tax income and employment. The Yukon, historically, has been one of the major gold producing areas in Canada and with recent high metal prices, there has been an increased interest in gold exploration projects. In 2011, over $300 million were spent on mineral exploration with gold accounting for 69% of the expenditures.
