The University of Saskatchewan with government and industry support has invested 13M$ into an Canadian Feed Research Centre and a Research Chair in Feed Processing Technology. One of the main objectives of the new initiative is to discover ways of using processing to add-value (economic, nutritional, health) and consistency (improving performance or health overall as well as stability of the feed and its bioactives) to animal diets.
