英文摘要
We propose to develop and integrate fundamental technologies toward developing an autonomous mobile manipulator. These are (i) sensor-based motion planning with both localization and map uncertainty, and (ii) motion planning amidst unknown dynamic environments (such as humans moving around. The resulting algorithms will be developed on an existing mobile manipulator in the SFU Robotic Algorithms and Motion Planning (RAMP) Lab demonstrating a level of spatial competency and motion safety well beyond what the existing robots are able to do.
