CleanO2 Carbon Capture Technologies Inc. (CleanO2) has approached the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) to help improve the mechanical system and industrial design of a novel carbon capture system in advance of commercialization of the proven prototype. The refinements will include design for mechanical efficiency and design for manufacture and assembly to reduce the cost of the unit, maximize mechanical efficiency and improve the appearance of the unit. Successful conclusion of the proposed project will allow the company to immediately begin manufacturing large volume orders for commercial scale units, installing them in their customers' mechanical rooms, and harvesting the sodium carbonate by-product for sale.
