The long term objective of the project is to develop a tool that will screen phased-array ultrasound datacollected on welds and point out where the operator needs to be looking for defects. To achieve this goal, thedata needs to be cleaned up and the drift between the probe and the weld needs to be estimated. The projectaims at using feature-based approaches for estimating probe drift.
