NEEB Engineering Inc. of Guelph Ontario is developing a rainwater harvesting system that will directly address water conservationand sustainability efforts of groundwater based municipalities. The company is in the final stages of the design of the harvestingsystem, and they have approached The Applied Research Department of St. Lawrence College, to help design a proprietary valvethat is essential to the operation of the rainwater harvesting system. Research staff and students will be working alongside theNEEB engineering team to design, prototype and evaluate conceptual designs this switch so the product can receive validationand approval for commercial use.NEEB Engineering Inc. is an engineering firm specialising in mechanical and electrical building services and was founded in 2007.They encourage environmental sustainability by delivering innovative building systems designs, construction administration andcondition study services.About St. Lawrence College Applied Research DepartmentThe Applied Research Department is an integral part of St. Lawrence College and is proud to be named one of Canadas Top 50Research Colleges.
