Kingston Glass Studio and Gallery of Kingston, Ontario is partnering with the Applied Research Department at St.**Lawrence College to improve the manufacturing process of their glassware products. Specifically, the company is**looking to increase production, while reducing inconsistencies in products.**A college research team, consisting of members from the Applied Sciences and Applied Research Departments,**have produced a proposal to assist the company in reducing defective products and simultaneously increasing**production through a new, custom made manufacturing process. This project will help the growing company**achieve production goals by redesigning how the company produces its glassware products.**Kingston Glass Studio and Gallery is located in historic downtown Kingston, Ontario and has been developing**bespoke glass products for over 20 years. The company is best known for their glassware, ornaments and**sculptures and sells these products all over North America through galleries, wholesale and its online and**Kingston retail store.**About St. Lawrence College Applied Research Department**St. Lawrence College values applied research as an essential practice and believe it enriches college programing**while strengthening the performance of regional industries.
