Swift Medical Inc. is interested in the development of imaging technologies for rapid assessment of wound healing progress. The existing system tracks the wound healing process merely via scaled RGB image database highly integrated with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Ryerson University will contribute by conducting research to analyze and optimize design options for a next generation of wound imaging system combining and integrating with the existing Swift system. The goal of the proposed research is to a design of a multimodal optical analytical approach, which can be easily integrated with existing data collection system and EHRs. Development of a mobile and affordable wound imaging system will significantly accelerate wound diagnostics, improve patients outcome, and reduce healthcare costs.**
