The proposed work will seek to improve understanding of the structure-property-processing relationships in**NewPro3D's new high-speed stereolithography (SLA) 3D printer. Owing to the large number of processing**parameters available in SLA printing, finding optimal print conditions for achieving accurate, efficient and**high performance parts is challenging. In this project the UBC/NewPro3D teams will collaborate to develop a**deeper understanding of the relationship between degree of cure during SLA printing and the final mechanical**properties of parts manufactured using NewPro3D's innovative high speed printing technologies. Parts printed**by NewPro3D will be characterized at UBC in terms of their as-printed structure (particularly their degree of**cure) then subjected to mechanical testing to assess performance. The results of this work will help to further**optimize NewPro3D's product and their potential for attracting investment and future clients for their product.
