User-Level Behavioral Analytics

The research and development activities proposed in this project are centered around providing descriptive and prescriptive analytics based on device handling behavioral data collected from handheld devices. Based on device handling behavioral data, we intend to explore three research objectives: a) developing and learning appropriate representations for domain entities such as devices, protection plans, and incident types, among others, for the sake of performing analogical reasoning; b) customizing protection plans based on the collected historical data for certain target end user communities; and c) recommending the most suitable protection plan for both cold-start and warm-resume end users depending on their interaction with the industry partner's mobile application.
