The role of staff breakrooms in employees' psychophysiological recovery, well-being, and performance

After our manuscript was rejected by a top-tier journal, my collaborators in Australia and Sweden and I extensively revised and re-submitted it to another leading international journal. Currently, the manuscript is under review, and we are waiting for the outcome.To systematically summarise the studies on well-being in the hospitality industry and to better understand the context of our own research, my collaborators and I have held a series of online meetings. These meetings have allowed us to prepare a manuscript that comprehensively summarises the existing literature on employee well-being and recovery.In December, I presented the progress of my project and its preliminary findings at an international conference, the Asia Pacific Conference 2022, which took place in Japan.
