Research on Development Education in Australia from a Perspective of Educational Methodology : Theory Remodeling and Inquiry of Practice Based on the Theory

通过本研究，批判性地分析了澳大利亚在发展教育理论和实践方面的研究成果。本研究的主要发现是：1)揭示了澳大利亚发展教育理论研究取得的成就和存在的问题；2)举例说明了如何评估发展教育的实践和面临的几个研究任务；3)指出了发展教育作为学校管理基本政策的新的可能性。在此基础上，探寻重塑发展性教育理论的途径。

Through this research, the accomplishment of research on theory and practice of development education in Australia was analyzed critically. The main findings of this research were to 1) reveal the achievements and problems of the theoretical research of development education in Australia, 2) bring out an example which shows how to assess the practice of development education and a few research tasks to be challenged, and 3) point out a new possibility that development education can play a role of fundamental policy for school management. Then, based on these findings, the way of remodeling theory of development education was sought.
