Evaluating the Benefits of Investments in International Public Goods

这项研究有两个目的。首先，研究阐明了两国一般均衡模型的背景下，特别强调网络外部性，即拥挤和网络的范围内的国际信息网络的最优提供。其次，利用美国和日本的数据，通过数值模拟，实证分析了国际合作在提供理想的国际信息网络中的作用，得出了国际信息网络的最优成本分担结构。

The purpose of this study was twofold. Firstly, the study clarified the optimal provision of international information networks within the context of the two-country general equilibrium model with special emphasis on network externality i.e.congestion and the scope of network. Secondly, it discussed empirically the role of international cooperation in order to provide desirable international information networks by numerical simulations with the US and Japanese data.In conclusion, this study showed the optimal cost allocation share structure of international information networks.
