The Process of the Fixing of Secondary Homemaking Education in Japan under the Occupation -The Field Research on Demonstration Schools-

研究了占领时期日本高中家政教育政策的建立与发展过程。在本研究中，我打算重点研究两部分，GHQ/SCAP的职业文件和地方当局的地方材料。这项研究的结果概述如下。日本家政教育的改革是二战期间由美国战时战争局策划的，其思想是占领时期美国教育改革报告的延续。教师培训是一项重要的家政教育政策，由国际教育委员会和教育部共同实施。通过对文献资料和访谈研究结果的分析，明确了德岛县新型家政教育的建立过程。教育部指定的示范学校为新型家政教育的推广做出了贡献。CIE电影《光明家居生活》、家居工程、单位厨房是传播新家政教育的有效手段。

I have studied the process of establishment and development of high school homemaking education policy in Japan under the occupation. In this study I intended to focus on two parts, the occupational documents of the GHQ/SCAP and the local materials of local authorities. The findings of this study were autlined below.1. Reform of Japanese homemaking education was planned during the World War II by OWI in the U.S.A.and its ideas were continued U.S.educational reform reports under occupation.2. One of the most important homemaking education policy was teacher training and it was realized through IFEL by CIE and Ministry of Education.3. The process of establishment of the new homemaking education was made clear by analyzing the documents and the results of interviewing researches in Tokushima Prefecture.4. Demonstration schools appointed by Ministry of Education contributed to diffusion of new homemaking education.5. CIE film "Brighter Home Life", home project and unit kitchen were useful means to diffuse new homemaking education.
