Career redevelopment support programmes for inactive nurses in community

本研究旨在调查日本某大学医院护理人员的工作与生活平衡意识。向在某大学医院工作的1,236名护理人员发送问卷，收到1,081份（87.5%）答复。结果表明：(1)日本护士对生活质量的概念和意义尚未建立；(2)护士需要的三个因素是工作环境，第一是生活质量福利，第二是灵活的工作方式，第三是终身学习；(3)生活质量好的护士也有更高的工作满意度和工作动机。

The aim of this study is to examine the awareness of work-life balance (WLB) among the nursing personnel at a university hospital in Japan. A questionnaire was sent to 1,236 nursing personnel working at a university hospital and 1,081 (87, 5%) responses received. The result can be summarised as follows : (i) The concept and significance of WLB has not yet been established among nurses in Japan, (ii) Three factors were find which nurses need as working environment, 1st Quality of life benefits,2nd flexible working style, 3rd lifelong learning, (iii) Nurses who reported good WLB also reported higher job satisfaction and job motivation.
