The Okinawa Reversion and Diplomacy of Ikeda and Sato Era 外交史 国際関係史

本研究旨在探讨1960年代冲绳回归的外交历史意义。池田首相完全没有提及美国对冲绳的行政权。相反，日本政府寻求提高冲绳居民的福利和经济水平。但到了60年代末，这种默契发生了变化，日本政府改变了立场，决定寻求行政权的回归。我调查了外务省和国务院的政策变化以及佐藤首相的政策倡议。我发表了两篇关于冲绳归还的论文。

This project is an inquiry into the diplomatic historical implication of the Okinawa Reversion in the 1960’s. Prime Minister Ikeda did not mention the US administrative right s of Okinawa at all. Instead, the Japanese government sought to enhance the welfare and economic standard of Okinawan residents. Then tacit agreement changed in the end of1960’s and the Japanese government changed its position and decided to seek the return of the administrative right. I have investigated the policy changes of Foreign Ministry and State Department and the policy initiative of Prime Minister Sato. I published two papers on the Reversion of Okinawa.
