What to do with the discipline of art history after contemporary art and globalization? Theexpansion of contemporary art throughout the globe has put traditional art historical models in"crisis," and has generated further discussion around the possibility of divorcing history from itsprogressive core. However, most of the literature in this field shies away from engaging intemporalities beyond the Global North in attempting to formulate a way out of this "crisis inhistory."
