This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. She had difficultly locating info about penguin embryology, but was advised that very early avian development is similar across species. Request to analyze some MRI scans done on rats, looking for different fat depots such as Sub-Q, renal, interstitial, etc. Although we could not take on a project like that at the time of her request, Boma Fubara (CIVM animal support) responded with information about a rat atlas that may help in their work.
