This application is for funding to support research in the area of performance analysis and utility optimization of wireless networks. The primary emphasis will be on wireless multi-hop, ad-hoc and sensor networks (<2Mb/s) nevertheless the methodology and techniques can be applied to more general wireless systems such as cellular/WiMax/LTE(Long Term Evolution) (i.e. current and evolving systems supporting data with higher bit rates from 2Mb/s to 50Mb/s or more).
