英文摘要
We propose to use energy-sensitive x-ray detectors manufactured by Redlen Technologies for non-destructive**material analysis. Through computer simulations and experiments we will find the optimal parameters for**scanning of objects that yield the highest detection sensitivity. In the initial phase of the project, we will focus**on food inspection and provide algorithms for foreign small object detection. The company will benefit from**our theoretical knowledge of image processing algorithms and together we will provide Canadians with**improved food inspection techniques.
