This award will provide a high-performance liquid chromatography system for the use of the members of the Department of Biological Sciences. It will facilitate their studies of ovarian tissue metabolism of ecosanoids (unsaturated fatty acids), the chlorophyll and carotenoid pigment content of lake sediments, and insect hemolymph antifreeze proteins.
