英文摘要
Fault-tolerant control aims at modifying a given controller in case of a fault such that the controlled faulty plant again fulfills its task. For this, the steps of fault diagnosis and reconfiguration of the controller are essential, which mainly have been treated independently from one another in literature. The aim of this project is to develop a method for fault-tolerant control of discrete-event systems which combines methods for the active fault diagnosis with a reconfiguration approach exploiting available redundancies. The main idea is to unambiguously determine the state and the behavior of the plant after the occurrence of the fault in order to modify the plant's desired trajectory appropriately. A consistency-based diagnostic method based on the theory of testing of automata is to be combined with a reconfiguration method employing a local search, where both methods have been developed in preliminary work in the group of the applicant. The applicability of the new integrated method shall be demonstrated by applying it to a pilot plant.
