项目摘要

本研究の目的は、聖地のリアリティや道中のプロセスを経験的に理解する機会を消滅させる巡礼のオンライン化という現象に注目し、ヴァーチャル化した聖地と、日常世界から遠隔的にアクセスする巡礼者が直結されるという新たな現象を読み解く枠組みを構築することである。具体的には（１）巡礼のオンライン化と向き合う心象の調査、（２）「聖年」関連イベントのオンライン企画の調査、（３）写し巡礼におけるリモート要素の再検討などを通して、巡礼は聖地と巡礼路と巡礼者の不可分の三要素で構成されるという従来の基本的枠組みを学術的な再考を目指す。2022年度は、上記（２）に関連して、コロナ禍での聖年関連イベントの実施例として、善光寺前立本尊御開帳および最上三十三観音子年連合御開帳の参与観察と、四国霊場における弘法大師御誕生1250年の準備状況を調査した。また比較のために、コロナ禍における平年の事例として秩父三十四観音の参与観察を行った。それぞれコロナ禍での感染対策の実施状況や、リモート・オンラインの活用状況、またオンライン化されない現地やモノへのこだわりなどについての事例収集を行った。またこれまでの調査データから、四国遍路と観音巡礼の比較研究についての学術発表と論文執筆を行った。ここで注目したのが、巡礼者が携行する杖を参拝時に預ける「杖立」である。現在の四国遍路では、手水、本堂、大師堂、納経所等に複数のタイプの杖立が奉納され、活用されている。だがこのような杖立がアタリマエのものとして札所に溶け込む風景は他の巡礼や四国の古い写真集には確認できない。このことから、杖立は杖を弘法大師の化身と見なす四国で、近年、杖に対する感覚が変化したことで登場した新しい巡礼文化の要素であり、弘法大師への現代的敬意の具現化したモノであると指摘した。

The purpose of this study is to understand and eliminate the opportunities for the development of tourism in the Holy Land and the construction of the new phenomenon of tourism in the everyday world. Specifically,(1) the investigation of the psychological image of the tour,(2) the investigation of the planning of the "holy year",(3) the re-examination of the elements of the tour,(4) the study of the three inseparable elements of the tour, the tour route and the tour, and (5) the re-examination of the basic elements of the tour. In 2022, we investigated the preparation status of the 1250th year of the birth of the Hongdharma Master in Shikoku-field. In the past, there have been 34 cases of people participating in the investigation. The implementation status of infection control measures, the utilization status of infection control measures, and the collection of infection control cases are discussed. The author of this paper is interested in the comparative study of the investigation and the study of the four countries. The "standing" of the "standing" of the Now Shikoku Panji, Handsui, Hondo, Dashido, Nashindo, etc. In addition to the above, it is also necessary to establish a photo album of the ancient four countries. In the past few years, the four countries have become the most important elements of the new tour culture, and the modern respect of the great master of the Dharma has become the most important element of the tour culture.
