项目摘要

本研究の目的は，日本の学級経営を参考にしたインドにおける「衛生安全な新しい日本型学級経営モデル」の開発である。1年目は，インドと日本の学校保健衛生に関わる先行研究分析と教師へのインタビュー調査を行った。2年目にあたる本年度は，「衛生安全な新しい日本型学級経営モデル」の教材を作成しインドの15歳の生徒に学級経営の実践を行った。実践校は1つの中央政府学校と2つの私立学校である。まず，多様性を認める学級経営の実践を行った。そして，衛生安全な授業を行った。具体的にはCOVID-19感染症予防のためのマスク・換気・手洗いの学校保健教育である。モデルの妥当性をみるために，インドの生徒に質問紙調査・COVID-19やその他の病気を予防するためのフェイスマスクの使用を理解する多次元フェイスマスク知覚尺度等を実施して検討をした。これらの実践に当たって，日本側が立てた授業案を，インドクライスト大学Sadananda Reddy博士と共に事前に授業研究を行なった。さらに，インドの生徒の反応をみながら実践を行った。その結果，生徒たちは日本とインドが友好的な関係にあり，日本の教育がインドで可能性を持っていると感じていることがわかった。また，インドの生徒の「強み」として，教育，行動力，自信・信念，ポジティブシンキング，家族や友人へのサポートが挙げられた。生徒の「強み」を言語化することで，教師の生徒への理解や生徒同士の相互理解につながる可能性があることが示された。また，実践によって多次元フェイスマスク知覚尺度が有意に高くなった。インドの生徒の質問紙調査では，全員が手洗いの演習を肯定的に受け止めていた。これらの学級経営や学校保健教育は，生徒にとっては初めてのものであった。インドの文化を踏まえた日本型教育の学級経営は効果的であることが示された。
