本年度は、在宅エンドオブライフケアを支える訪問看護師とケアマネジャーの連携に関するアンケート調査用紙を作成した。予備調査として、A県の訪問看護ステーションの全事業所を対象に、訪問看護ステーションに従事している看護師等の人数、在宅エンドオブライフケアの経験者数、本調査への参加の有無・および本調査への参加人数等の回答を郵送にて依頼した。予備調査の回答は54事業所（郵送返信49事業所とインターネット回答5事業所）であり、回答率は40.0%であった。有効回答は51事業所であった。その中で、訪問看護師310名が従事していた。常勤は227名で、パートタイムは83名であった。1事業所あたり、平均6.08名の訪問看護師が従事していた。訪問看護師の在宅エンドオブライフケアの経験者は全体で251名(81.0%)であった。一方、訪問看護師以外では、91名が従事していた。常勤は70名で、パートタイムは21名であった。内訳は理学療法士が25名、作業療法士が11名、言語聴覚士が9名、事務が37名、その他が9名であった。1事業所あたり、平均1.78名の訪問看護師意外の従事者がいた。訪問看護師以外の従事者で在宅エンドオブライフケアの経験者は全体で31名（34.1%)であった。訪問看護ステーションは小さな事業所にも関わらず、在宅エンドオブライフケアを経験している従事者が多くいることがわかった。在宅エンドオブライフケアを支える訪問看護師とケアマネジャーの連携について本調査をする意義は大きい。
