今年度は利他的動機づけと利己的動機づけの個人差を測定する尺度の開発と妥当性の検証を中心に研究を進めた。昨年度の反省から質問項目を見直して精選し，大学生を対象にオンラインフォームを通じてアンケートを実施した。利他的－利己的動機づけに関する質問項目のほかに，Big Five，多次元共感性，自己コントロール，自己犠牲，自分に対する思いやり，自尊感情，全般的自己効力感，自閉症傾向，ADHD傾向などの尺度を，300名以上の大学生に実施した。その結果，利他的動機づけ5項目と利己的動機づけ5項目からなる利他的－利己的動機づけ志向性尺度が作成された。利他的動機づけとBig Fiveの調和性や多次元共感性の共感的関心，あるいは自己犠牲等との相関，利己的動機づけと多次元共感性の個人的苦痛や自分に対する思いやり等との相関が確認され，構成概念妥当性が示されたと言える。また，上記調査から1か月後に，半数の参加者を対象として，人生満足度，全般的精神的健康，不安傾向，抑うつ傾向，コロナ2019感染症予防に対する意識や行動のアンケートを実施した。動機づけ志向性尺度とその時点での精神的健康および感染症予防行動の数に相関が見られ，基準関連妥当性が示されたと言える。さらにデータを追加したため，それも含めて詳細な分析を行っていく。また，小学生を対象にアンケート調査を行い，その中で能力や失敗に関するマインドセットと利他的動機づけに関係する他者に対する親切心や協調性との間に相関を見出した。動機づけの志向性を小中学生に教えて認知的な価値づけを行う際には，マインドセットの観点も踏まえて介入方法を考えることが有効かもしれない。
