本研究は，公共図書館における地域情報資源創出継承活動の展開・効用に関して，①活動の形態，②活動の前提条件，③活動に影響を与える要因，④活動によったもたらされる効用という個別課題を設定し，諸調査によって明らかにすることを目指している。とりわけ，公共図書館における地域情報・地域資料に関係する取り組みの中から，地域の日常に存在する印刷資料や画像資料，人々の記憶や人々の間で伝承されてきた情報などを組織化して情報源として整備したり，掘り起こして提示したりする能動的な図書館活動に着目し，全国の公共図書館における実態を明らかにするための調査票を2021年度に設計した。2022年度は，この調査票に基づく質問紙調査を，2022年4月から9月の期間（督促期間を含む）に実施した。対象は，2022年3月時点で図書館を設置している地方自治体とし，その中央的な役割を果たしている1,391館に調査票を送付して協力を求めた。回収率は，74.0%（1,030館）であった。質問紙は，①「図書館自らによる撮影・録画・録音活動に関する設問」，②「地域の人々・団体・企業等との協同に基づく活動に関する設問」，③「地域の状況を把握・継承するための活動に関する設問」の三つに大別して設問を用意し，過去10年間の図書館活動を尋ねた。回収した調査票に基づき，2022年10月以降，データを集計し，分析作業を進めた。分析結果の一部は，2023年度日本図書館情報学会春季研究集会で報告する予定となっている。2021年度までと同様，2022年度も，新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響を受けた研究遂行上の遅れが一部に残ってはいる。しかし，2022年度において質問紙調査の実施に至ったことから，2023年度において，当初の目的に沿った研究の完遂に向けての見通しを立てることができた。

This study focuses on the following aspects: (1) the form of activities;(2) the preconditions for activities;(3) the main causes of activities;(4) the setting of individual topics for activities; and (5) the direction of investigations. Public library information, regional data, relationships, daily presence, print data, portrait data, personal memory, personal information, organization, information sources, and active library activities The National Public Library is currently under investigation for the year 2021. In 2022, the basic questionnaire survey was carried out during the period from April to September 2022 (including the supervision period). In response, local governments were set up in March 2022, and the central government's work was completed in 1,391. The return rate is 74.0%(1,030 pavilions). The questions include: (1)"Questions on library self-recording, video recording and recording activities";(2)"Questions on collaborative activities of people, organizations and enterprises in the region"; and (3)"Questions on regional conditions, commitments and activities". The purpose of the three questions is to find library activities in the past 10 years. In October of 2022, the investigation base was closed, and the analysis work was carried out. Part of the analysis results is the report of the Spring Research Conference of the Japanese Library Information Society in 2023. In 2021, the same research was conducted, and in 2022, the impact of new infections was studied. In 2022, the implementation of the paper survey was questioned, and in 2023, the original goal was to complete the research and establish a clear vision.
