我が国の多くの企業が、デジタルトランスフォーメーション（DX）による成果を十分に出していないと言われており、企業は効率的にDXを推進できる能力の獲得が急務である。本研究の目的は、我が国の企業におけるDXの推進に影響を与える組織文化の要因の構造を明らかにし、産業界に対して改善の提言を行うことである。令和２年度は、まずDXの成功／失敗の定義を整理し、日本企業に適用することでその確からしさを確認した。そして、E. Scheinの組織文化の3段階モデルを参照することで、DXの推進に影響を与える組織文化の要因を整理した。これらの成果を整理し関連する学会で発表を行った。令和3年度は、独立行政法人 情報処理推進機構（IPA）よりDXの推進に関するデータを貸与いただき、14の要因がDXの推進に影響を与え、さらに企業規模などの属性の違いによりその傾向が異なることを明らかにした。これらの成果を整理し、関連する学会、および国際会議で発表を行った。また、日本企業に勤務する複数人の実務家にインタビューを実施し、8分類からなるDXの推進に影響を与える組織文化の要因を特定し、質問紙を作成した。令和4年度は、前年度に作成した質問紙をもとにインターネット調査を実施し、日本企業から297件の有効データを収集した。そして、これらのデータに対し因子分析と重回帰分析を適用した結果、主に2つの組織文化の要因がDXの推進に直接強い影響を与えていることを明らかにした。これらの成果を整理し、関連する学会で発表を行った。また、DXの推進の程度を診断する手法を調査・試行し、その有効性を確認した。診断手法の一つである「DX-CMM」を中小企業で試行した結果、組織に合わせて診断範囲を柔軟に調整できる点など、いくつかの利点を特定した。これらの成果を整理し、関連する学会で発表を行った。
