本研究はイエナプラン教育における異年齢集団によるボールゲームの学習プログラムの構築を最終的な目的としている。これまでの経緯を踏まえて、2022年度の研究実績の概要は以下の通りである。2020年度はイエナプラン教育に関する情報収集を行う予定であった。新型コロナウイルスの影響によって、国内外のイエナプラン教育の実施校に赴き、視察して、具体的な教材を開発する予定であったが実現できなかった。しかし、2022年度において、当初予定していた国内のイエナプラン教育の実施校を訪問でき、情報収集できた。2021年度は具体的な教材を開発することを目的としていた。これまで発表されているボールゲーム（シュートゲーム、キャッチバレー、バランスボールベースボール）を基に、異年齢集団でも対応できそうなボールゲームを考案することができた。なお、ボールゲームは、学習指導要領に即して、ゴール型・ネット型・ベースボール型の３種類の教材を検討していった。それを踏まえて、2022年度は教材を実施することが目的であった。具体的にはベースボール型・ゴール型については実際の授業で実践することができた。しかし、ネット型に関しては場所や用具の課題が克服できず、実施ができなかった。
