项目摘要

本研究は、Keltner et al.(2003)による影響力の接近／抑制理論を始めとする諸理論に基づいて、影響力の行使やその想起が、特定の認知パターン（ポジティブ感情、行動活性システム(BAS)、抽象的解釈、リスキーな意思決定、変革性など）を活性化させる現象に注目している。しかしながら、本研究において2020-2021年度に実施した3つの実験結果はその現象を支持しなかった。Den Hartog(2004)の国際比較研究によれば、日本においては、他者に対して主張することが諸外国に比べて相対的に低いことが指摘され、欧米圏で見出された「影響力－認知の関連性」は、日本においては認められない傾向が示唆された。2022年度も、実験条件や方法的問題点を改善した上で、さらにデータを収集してこの関連性について検討することにした。2021年度までウェブ調査会社で質問紙実験を実施したが、実験操作となる自由記述部分を研究者の意図通りに実験参加者が記述しないことが認められた（分析可能なデータ提供者の比率は全体の20%以下）。2022年度はCrowdWorksという総合型クラウドソーシングサイトを用いて質問紙実験を実施した。しかしながら、他者に影響を及ぼしたことを想起することが、影響力感を高めることは認められるものの、想起によってポジティブ感情、BAS、抽象的な解釈、リスキーな判断が、他者から影響を受けたことを想起した場合よりも活性化されるという結果は見出されなかった。日本における影響力－認知関連性はあまり認められないようである。また、当初の計画では、影響力を保持、行使することによる認知の変化に基づいた、影響力保持者に対する説得方法まで検討する計画であったが、そのような認知変化を支持するデータが得られないことが見出され、本研究では、日本における影響力－認知関連性について検討を行うことにした。
