本研究は、全国階層意識調査として2015年に実施されたSSP2015調査、および2010年以来実施してきた一連の全国調査（SSP調査シリーズ）を時点間比較、調査モード比較のベースとして、最新の調査SSP2022(仮称)を実施し、現代社会の現役世代の社会階層と社会意識の実態を把握し、合わせて現代日本の状況に適合的なウェブ調査技法を確立することを目的としている。計画の準備段階として、2020年度までにサンプル設計、調査項目の策定、職業コーディングの方法の確立、ウェブ法によるプリテストなどを実施した。この過程において、新型コロナウィルスの感染拡大があった。そのため当初2020年12月に実施予定としていた全国調査は、2年以上遅れて2022年1～3月に延期実施せざるを得なくなった。このSSP2022調査では全国200地点の約6000人を抽出して、ウェブ調査に誘導した後に郵送督促を行うというシーケンシャル・ミックスモードの調査設計で実施し、およそ40%にあたる2370ケースの有効回答を得ることができた。2022年度においては、この最新データを整理集計しアフターコーディングなどの分析の全段階となる作業を行った。その後、暫定データを共同研究者間で共有して試行的な分析を行ったうえで、さらにデータを修正し、2023年3月に最終確定版データを確定させた。今後はそのデータを分析することで、研究成果を発信していく予定である。調査の実施が遅れたうえ、本体データの確定にも予定以上の時間を要したが、研究プロジェクト内において実施してきた既存のデータの分析と成果発信にかんしては、学術論文13件書籍3件の発表成果を挙げている。国内外での学会報告については、オンライン開催や開催中止などにより、当初計画していた発表が遅れたケースがあるものの計13件の成果を挙げている。

In the year 2022, the latest information collection was collected and analyzed throughout the whole operation. After the election, the co-researchers agreed to make sure that the analysis lines of the co-researchers shared the following lines: the analysis line, the correction line, and the most accurate version in March 2023. In the future, we will analyze the results of the research and believe that the results of the research will predict the future. It is necessary to make sure that the above schedule is scheduled, and that the results of the existing data analysis, 13 academic papers, 3 academic papers, and 3 academic papers are not available in the system. Both at home and abroad, Chinese and foreign academies reported that they had started to urge the termination of the war, and that there had been a total of 13 results in the original plan.
