本研究は、１７世紀末から２０世紀初頭にかけて清の統治下にあったハルハ＝モンゴル地域の駐屯地（軍営、駅站、哨所）を対象として、中央ユーラシア遊牧民が行った取引の実態、及び彼らが構築していた取引のネットワークの解明を目指すものである。今年度は、研究指導委託の制度を利用し、モンゴル国立大学の研究員としてウランバートル市に滞在し、モンゴル国立中央文書館に通って所蔵史料を調査した。まず、駐屯地における貨幣使用や商人の出身地、取引される商品の種類を網羅的に調べ、その後１８世紀末のフレー（現ウランバートル市の前身）においてモンゴル人官員らが作成した帳簿群に分析対象をしぼり、その結果、当時の貨幣使用状況の特質、とくに茶が「信用貨幣」として使用されていたことを明らかにすることができた。この成果は、日本モンゴル学会大会において発表した（「清朝統治下ハルハ＝モンゴルの貨幣―18世紀末フレーにおける銀と茶」（2022年11月19日、於鹿児島大学）。また、研究指導委託先の大学院生を対象に、講演「Манжийн еийн Халхын арилжаа наймааны онцлог（清朝統治下ハルハにおける商取引の特質）」（2022年10月12日、モンゴル国立大学大学院人文学部歴史学科合同ゼミ）も行い、研究に役立つ情報の交換に努めた。加えて、下記の講演やコラム執筆にも取り組み、日本で暮らす人々を対象に、前近代遊牧民の歴史や文化、現代モンゴル事情に関する普及活動を行い、遊牧地域の人々とのより良い関係の構築をサポートすることを試みた。・講演「ウランバートル都市のくらし」2022年8月24日JICA地球ひろばオンラインセミナー「2022年モンゴル最前線へオンライントラベル！遊牧民のくらしと都市のくらし」・コラム「もっと！天幕のジャードゥーガル」毎月連載、Webサイト「Souffle」秋田書店

This study aims at exploring the situation of nomads 'behavior and understanding of their construction under Qing government from the end of 17th century to the beginning of 20th century. This year, the National University researchers are investigating historical materials collected by the National Central Library of Science and Technology through the use of the system of research guidance commissions. The currency used in the country of residence, the origin of the merchant, the types of goods quoted, and the late 18th century (the predecessor of the current market) were analyzed by officials who created the account group, the results, the characteristics of the currency used at that time, and the use of "credit money." The results were presented at the Japan Institute of Technology Conference ("Money under Qing Dynasty Rule: Silver Tea at the End of the 18th Century")(November 19, 2022, at Kagoshima University). The research guidance commission of the former university students conducted a lecture on "The characteristics of business acquisition under the rule of Qing Dynasty"(October 12, 2022, contract of the Department of History, Faculty of Humanities, National University).
