これまでの介入事例をまとめ、先行研究のレビューを行うと共に、評価対象となる指標を整理し、仮説の再検討を行った。具体的には、前駆衝動の馴化が生じるかどうか、介入の際にどのような機序でチック症状の改善が生じているのかという仮説を先行研究のレビューと自身の介入事例の再検討によって実施した。前駆衝動の尺度がチックごとに行われておらず、頻度や重症度等の詳細な評価が行われていないこともあり、前駆衝動の馴化の仮説が十分に支持されていないことが分かったため、前駆衝動の評価方法を見直した。RCT(ランダム化比較試験)を実施するための体制作りを行うために、評価者及び介入者を養成するために準備を行った。RCT(ランダム化比較試験)で十分な人数が集まらなかった際に、シングルケーススタディとして事例を検討するために必要な手続きについて検討し、研究計画を修正した。
