项目摘要

本研究では、個人の感性を客観的,普遍的な尺度で捉えることには限界があるとの観点から、まず第1に、概念空間による個人の主観構造のモデル化技法と空間上での事例修正操作による設計案の立案方式にいついて提案した。具体的には、既存設計事例のサンプルに対していだく設計依頼者のイメージを基に,依頼者の主観構造を概念空間上に写像し,要求イメージの空間上での位置と既存事例の位置との相対的な関係を求め、近傍事例を修正することで新たな設計案を立案する設計方式の枠組を与えた。また、この方式をもとに、人間や動物をデフォルメ化したキャラクタの設計を支援するキャラクタデザインシステムを計算機上に実装し、これを用いた評価実験を通して、利用者の要求イメージ通りの設計案が作成可能であることを確認した。さらに、上記で開発した概念空間上における事例修正操作方式の設計支援作業以外への応用として、蛋白質立体構造の新しい分類方式を開発した。これは、立体構造が既存の蛋白質を既存設計事例と同様に取り扱い、修正操作に要するコストをもとに、分類クラスタを求めるものである。人手によってなされた標準的な分類と比較することにより、本方式が高い分類精度を実現していることを実験的に検証した。
