本研究では、第一に公共財を純粋公共財と排除可能な公共財に分類し、それぞれの供給に関する望ましい経済メカニズムの設計を試みた。経済メカニズムの望ましさを測る基準として、戦略的操作不可能性、個人合理性、需要単調性、市民主権という4つの公理を導入し、これらの公理を満足する経済メカニズムの特定化を行った。純粋公共財に関しては、固定された費用負担ルールのもとでの全員一致のメカニズムが、また排除可能な公共財に関しては、提携に対して固定された費用負担ルールのもとでの(最大の提携の)全員一致のメカニズムが、4つの公理を満たすメカニズムであることを証明した。これらの結論から、純粋公共財よりも排除可能な公共財の方が、4つの公理を満足し、より効率的な経済メカニズムを設計できることが明らかとなった。第二に、オークションにおける望ましい経済メカニズムの設計を試みた。まず各個人の選好集合が有限に制限されている場合でさえ、戦略的操作不可能性とパレート最適性の2つの公理を満足する経済メカニズムを設計できないことを証明した。次に戦略的操作不可能性、個人合理性、需要単調性、補償の公平性という4つの公理を満足する経済メカニズムの特定化を行った。第三に、純粋交換経済における望ましい経済メカニズムの設計を試みた。ここでは、各個人の選好集合が有限に制限される場合でさえ、戦略的操作不可能性、パレート最適性、非独裁性の3つの公理を満足する経済メカニズムを設計できないことをMATHEMATICAによる数値計算により予想した。

This study is aimed at the design of public goods that exclude the possibility of public goods classification and supply.
