これまで申請者は、インターロイキン1(IL-1α、IL-1β)およびインターロイキン1レセプターアンタゴニスト(IL-1ra)の歯周炎患者の歯肉溝滲出液中の動態について調べたところ歯周炎の重症度に密接に関連していることを報告した。そこで、これらIL-1およびIL-1ra量が重症度のみならず臨床的な病態の違いを反映するか否かについて、急速進行性歯周炎患者の歯肉溝滲出液中のIL-1およびIL-1raを測定し成人性歯周炎患者のそれと比較検討した。その結果、歯肉溝滲出液中のIL-1α、IL-1β量は、IL-1αが急速進行性歯周炎患者で高い傾向を示したものの両者に有意な差は、認められなかった。また、歯肉溝滲出液中のIL-1ra量は、成人性歯周炎患者に比べ急速進行性歯周炎患者において有意に低い値を示した。IL-1活性度においては、成人性歯周炎患者に比べ急速進行性歯周炎患者のほうが有意に高い値を示した。今回の結果から特に急速進行性歯周炎患者の歯肉溝滲出液中のIL-1ra量が成人性歯周炎患者より少なく、その結果IL-1活性度が、急速進行性歯周炎患者で高かったことは、IL-1raが急速な歯周組織破壊に密接に関与していることを示している。また、歯肉溝滲出液中のIL-1を測定するこたは、炎症の程度を把握するだけでなく病態の違いを判別する上でも非常に意義深いことが示唆された。

Results the results showed that the amount of IL-1ra in the effluent of patients with rapidly progressive periodontitis was significantly lower than that in patients with adult periodontitis, the activity of IL-1 in patients with rapidly progressive periodontitis was significantly higher than that in patients with rapidly progressive periodontitis, and that in patients with rapidly progressive periodontitis was significantly higher than that in patients with rapidly progressive periodontitis, and that in patients with rapidly progressive periodontitis was significantly higher than that in patients with rapidly progressive periodontitis, and that in patients with rapidly progressive periodontitis was significantly higher than that in patients with rapidly progressive periarthritis. The IL-1 in the effluent of the fish and meat was determined by the determination of the degree of inflammation and the degree of inflammation. The diagnosis of the disease was very significant.
