Based on the research result of the 1992 fiscal year, we put forward three topics to be investigated this year. The first topic was how to develop the method for the processing and presentation of text data. It was concluded that rearrangement realized by computer processing would be quite helpful for the analysis of lexical structure of the Hausa language.The second topic was how to deal with linguistic data written with non-Roman scripts. It was made clear that developing the method for displaying non-Roman scripts, such as Arabic, could not be so successful, without consideration of sorting system which is a fundamental matter for database.The last topic was how to unify text data and graphic representation. The investigation has not been completed because of some change of application we were planning to utilize, though a part of the result of the investigation was applied to the analysis of Bolu dialect data of Turkish.

根据1992财政年度的研究结果，我们提出了今年要研究的三个课题。第一个主题是如何开发文本数据的处理和表示方法。最后得出结论，通过计算机处理实现的重排将对豪萨语词汇结构的分析有很大帮助。第二个主题是如何处理用非罗马文字书写的语言数据。指出了如果不考虑数据库的基本问题--排序系统，开发非罗马文字（如阿拉伯文）的显示方法是不可能成功的。最后一个问题是如何统一文本数据和图形表示。虽然部分调查结果被应用于对土耳其语博卢方言的分析，但由于我们计划使用的一些应用变化，调查尚未完成。
