今年度の目的は,昨年度にひきつづき,各図書館や個人文庫に散在する絵本・挿絵本の書誌調査及びそのデーターの整理に置いた。大阪・京都・天理・名古屋など比較的近距離の地域のほか,東京・川崎・横浜・川越などにも調査は及んだ。テーマは中期江戸版絵本に限定しているのだが,個人文庫などは,見せていただく機会が限定されている場合が多く,この機会に文庫全体のデーターをとらせていただくこともあり,周辺分野に多少はみ出すことはやむをえなかった。昨年度は反省としてテーマに限定しないといけないと思ったが,かえってその拘束は発見をすくなくするとさとった。従来使用のカメラがおかしくなり,新規購入し写真撮影もかなり行ったが,重い機器を持っての出張が年齢的にかなりむずかしくなってきたので,今年を最後とせざるを得ないかと思う。今後は依頼撮影など他の方法に切りかえる。撮影分の多くの部分を焼きつけすることができた。データーの整理・入力には謝金を用いて協力を得た。学年度末にも計画をたてていたが,地震により急に校務多忙となった。しかし年度内に計画はやりおえることができた。大学研究室の書架の倒壊で,調査カードが散乱したが、全く読めない状態にはならなかった。コンピューターも影響をうけずにすんだ。四月以降これらの調査をもとに重政を中心にまとめて行くことができる。
