本年度は3か年計画の最終年度であり、研究とりまとめのために以下の調査・研究を行った。昨年度(平成17年度)、一昨年度(平成16年度)に行った調査の分析および研究の総括が、本年度の研究の主たる部分となった。さらに補足調査として以下の調査・分析を行った。(1)高齢者の住宅内事故・危険認知に関する現地調査昨年度行った「高齢者の住宅内事故・危険認知に関する現地調査」の結果分析に基づき、発生内容別に、現地事例調査を行った。現地調査からは、危険認知箇所と実際の事故が起こる箇所のずれや、日頃危険と認知している箇所で事故が起こる場合の原因が明らかとなった。(2)高齢者が文化面・精神面から重要とする箇所・内容に関するアンケート調査の分析昨年度行った高齢者が文化面・精神面から重要とする箇所・内容に関するアンケート調査の分析を行った。これらのアンケート調査の分析から、住文化の面や居住者の精神面か取り去れない、危険と思われる箇所がいくつか見られたが、それらの箇所での事故件数は少なく、安易なバリアフリー化により、高齢者の生活やその習慣、地域生活で重要な生活行為が失われる可能性があることがわかった。(3)調査・研究のとりまとめこれまで3か年間に行った調査をもとに、生活文化を考慮した高齢者住宅のあり方、および高齢者住宅の段階的バリアフリーの必要性について、とりまとめを行った。
