実験I[児童詩の理解と修正のプロセス]小学生に表題を与えて書かせた詩を本人および大学生に添削かせた実験結果から、修正添削方略モデルを構成した。方略の適用は字句の訂正削除といったミクロなものから、文体や時制やリズムの変換といったローカル・ミクロなもの、そして全体の流れの理解に関するマクロなものへと一般的には進行するが、被験者の随意的なメタ方略の発動によってそれは容易に変動する。しかし方略選択の理由には意味理解や感情的理解へ向かうボトムアップ的な傾向がみられる。この階層循環的修正方略構造と眼球運動の相関性は今後検討する予定である。実験II[香りの表現産出過程]香りの記憶空間および香水をかいだ時の知覚とその表現語空間について調査と実験が行われ、香りの言語表現を具体的かつ豊かにするには"TPO"を中心とする状況空間の設定が重要であることがわかった。実験III[音色の表現語体系]音質および音色表現語のクラスタ分析によるカテゴリネットワークが作成された。現在これにもとづきさらに実際の音源イメージを作る。音源音色表現語ディクショナリーを作成中である。実験IV[絵画表現と言語表現]絵画鑑賞時の言語表現は、エピソディックな解説を付加すると,知的理解は深まるものの、好みとかよさの評価はそれによって逆方向に変動する傾向が見いだされ、納得と了解の非一様性がうかがわれた。実験V[諺の理解]正解できぬ諺について、単語の意味スキーマを拡大するようなヒントを与えてもなお正解できぬ場合があり、単語間の関係スキーマや、比喩としての主題スキーマ(一種の"TPO")を与えることの重要性が見出され、さらにそれが共感的理解とどのように関係するかについて、特に人間理解の側面からも検討された。
