本研究は台湾の1989年の「調査」(中華民国経済部投資審議会『僑外投資事業運営状況調査及対我国経済発展貢献分析報告、民国78年』台北、1991年7月)資料を基本に、「華僑・華人」の企業投資と資金運営の実態について、統計的検証を通じて明かしするところに意図がおかれている。研究の内容構成は、さしずめ、つぎの8節に分けて把握される。すなわち(1)問題の提起、(2)統計的検証と限界、(3)全般的推移と業種別分布、(4)資産負債の構造、(5)財務収支の構造、(6)資本における産業の構造と市場の構造、(7)経営の効率と金融保険業の突出、(8)残された研究課題、がそれである。1993年12月現在、台湾に対する「華僑」投資は累計2,382件、26億889万ドルを記録。一方、台湾企業の中国大陸向け投資は60億ドルに達した。台湾がいわば「中継」基地として対中投資の重要な役割を演じていることがこの数字から十分推測できる。台湾における「華人・華僑」企業経営に焦点を合わせた理由のひとつはこの点にある。いまひとつは、「華人・華僑」の企業経営に関する統計的調査は台湾しかなく、ほかに選択肢がないことである。それだけに上記の台湾の「調査」報告は貴重な資料である。本研究がさしずめ台湾に焦点を合わせた理由は上記の二点にある。一方、1989年はバブル経済たけなわの局面にあり、その点で以上の作業は台湾における「華僑」系企業の「事業運営」の実態が明かにされると共に、バブル経済と「華僑」資本の「活動」との関係が一定程度浮き彫りできることも本研究の大きな成果である。このように本研究はいくつかの点において特色ある内容が期待できる。以上の研究はほぼ予定通り順調運ばれている。400字原稿用紙50枚程度にまとめて八千代国際大学の紀要特集号に載せることがほぼ決まっており、鋭意執筆中である。

This study is based on the data from the 1989 "Survey"(Investment Review Committee of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of China,"Survey of Overseas Chinese Investment Business Operations and Contribution Analysis Report to the Development of Taiwan's Economy, Taipei, July 1991), the basic information, the status of" Overseas Chinese and Chinese "corporate investment and capital management, and the statistical evidence. The content of the study consists of eight sections: . (1) Problem-raising,(2) Statistical evidence and limits,(3) General transition and business distribution,(4) Structure of assets and liabilities,(5) Structure of financial income and expenditure,(6) Structure of capital industry and market,(7) Performance of management and prominence of financial insurance industry,(8) Residual research topics, etc. In December 1993, Taiwan has accumulated 2,382 "overseas Chinese" investments, a record of 2.688 billion dollars. On the other hand, Taiwan enterprises have invested 6 billion dollars in the mainland of China. Taiwan's "China" base is an important part of China's investment. Taiwan "Chinese·Overseas Chinese" Enterprise Management Focus The survey of statistics related to the management of enterprises of "Chinese and Overseas Chinese" includes Taiwan's top ten enterprises. The above report on Taiwan's "investigation" contains valuable data. The focus of this study is on two points: On the one hand, in 1989, the situation of "overseas Chinese" enterprises in Taiwan was different from that of "overseas Chinese" enterprises in Taiwan. This study is not only about the characteristics of the study, but also about the expectations.
