本研究は本年度にマイクロフィルムで出版された井上匡四郎(初代技術院総裁)文書によって、わが国の第二次大戦期における科学技術動員の実態を明らかにしようというものであったこと。本年度明らかになった点は次の通りである。(1)技術院の航空機中心の初期の動員が、同時に多くの関連、非関連の基礎研究を含むものであった。(2)電子技術、とくに真空管生産計画の実現の方策について、八木秀次が策定した計画案が陸海軍の反対で挫折したこと。(3)太平洋戦争開始から技術院中心に進められてきた科学技術動員が、1944年以降、文部省の追い上げに合い、二つに分断されたこと。(4)44年末に技術院が航空機中心から電子技術を含む総合的動員機関に転換をはかろうとしたこと。

This study was published this year by the Institute of Science and Technology, and was written by Masashiro Inoue (the first official of the Institute of Technology).わが国の国の Second Great War PeriodにおけるScience and Technology Mobilizationの実STATEを明らかにしようというものであったこと. This year's clear and bright new year.
