幼児期・学齢期の障害児・軽度発達障害児の発達援助技法の検討と担任保育士・教員への支援を「コンサルテーション」の視点から専門機関と保育園・学校等々の連携の体制を作るとともに、それらの子どもの対人関係スキルの向上の援助方法を提案できた。学齢後の肢体不自由障害者への動作及び心理的援助システムの試みを行い、地域での援助システムのモデルを提示した。また、発達障害者をもつ大学生への支援の問題点と方法を明らかにした。
